CampVision began in 2004 with a 3 days 2 nights camp to create an impactful and rewarding learning experience for the youths. When we first started, we did not know if our efforts could be sustained, or if it was just going to be a one-off initiative! But we held on to our vision of empowering at-risk and underprivileged youths to be leaders of their lives, and in everything we did, we were determined, passionate and committed. For many of the volunteers involved in the first CampVision – seeing the realisation of the dream was a powerful and affirming truth of the change that each of us can create in our community if we only dare try. And this has been a miracle repeated year on year, with more and more volunteers coming onboard to anchor and spread the vision to see youths empowered to embrace and take action towards their dreams.
Over the years, CampVision has expanded! The 3 days 2 nights camp is our annual mainstay, and CampVision now also encompasses follow-up initiatives, charitable projects and service activities spanning the entire year.
