Testimonials from the Volunteers
“I found myself with CampVision”
For all the 4 years with CampVision, I have grown to become a loving man with confidence. I started my CampVision journey being a man of self-doubt. There’s a lot of things I believe I’m not good enough. Along the journey, with opportunities given to me, I took steps to take risks and learn from others. The encouragement and support given by many people from CampVision has brought me further in life.
I remember one youth telling me “If you don’t trust yourself, how can we trust you to lead us?”
Wow wow wow… I stopped and reflected…
Stepping forward to be a Home Liaison Officer in 2006 and leading the committee in 2007… I must say that I’m very privileged to be a part of this journey. Instead of mentioning that it’s me that have make a difference to the youths, I will also say that it’s the youths that have made a difference to me too.

“Making a choice to contribute”
Having been aware of the existence of CampVision, I made a choice to contribute as a small group leader in last year’s (2007) camp. The experience was overwhelming, inspiring and challenging.Tony Leung

“My Experience”
Well the boat ride was at first rocky and bumpy… as we goes on though, the mood begin to lift and everybody started singing… merrily, full of unadulterated joy.
With spirits lifted and purpose was found…The Captain of the ship turns around and says, “Crew, we’re about to reach the destination!”. We go on to explore the unexplored jungles that are within us, each time finding something new to keep as a lasting memory. Talents were found! We found ourselves ship doctors, navigators, and musicians, mixed roles but with one goal. CampVision indeed is a worthy ride that found me a purpose and the sentence “the journey does not end here… popped up in my mind…”
And hence we became the captain of our own ships, guiding our crew to the next island full of adventures and purpose.
